Seeking Ward 2 Candidates to Serve a Two-Year Commissioner Term
The Board of Commissioners of Upper Dublin Township is seeking interested and qualified individuals for appointment to a two-year term as the Commissioner for Ward 2. This individual would serve a two-year term representing their ward on the Board of Commissioners, which has responsibility for administering the corporate powers of Upper Dublin Township as defined by the First Class Township Code.
To be qualified, the appointee must be a registered voter and have lived in Ward 2 for a period of one year prior to the appointment. The area of Ward 2 is defined within the Ward maps on the Township website: https://www.upperdublin.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/WardMap.pdf. The appointment will be considered at the January 2, 2018 Reorganization Meeting of the Board of Commissioners.
