On Monday, May 22nd starting at approximately 9:00am, Camp Hill Road will be closed for construction for approximately three weeks and is expected to open on, or before Friday, June 9th. There will be no construction on Memorial Day. Construction will include minor widening of Camp Hill Road and two intersection corners to provide better turning radii for the upcoming signalized intersection condition.

The work will take place in two stages, each stage lasting for approximately ten days. During Stage 1, work will take place on Camp Hill Road between Virginia Drive and Highland Avenue. Once that work is finished, that section of Camp Hill Road will reopen, and Stage 2 construction will begin. Stage 2 work will take place on Camp Hill Road between Hellers Way to Virginia Drive.

Detour signs will be placed to help guide motorists around the closure and will be removed once construction is completed. The alternate route for Stage 1 will direct motorists to turn from Camp Hill Road onto Virginia Drive, Pinetown Road, and Highland Avenue. Stage 2 will direct motorists to turn from Camp Hill Road onto Virginia Drive, Susquehanna Road, and Dreshertown Road. Turns onto Virginia Drive from Camp Hill Road will be temporarily permitted, and the "No Turn" signs will be covered accordingly.

Virginia Drive will remain open at all times, and access to the Upper Dublin Police Department and Public Library will remain open from the Virginia Drive, Pinetown Road and Highland Avenue driveways.

Traffic delays are expected during construction and motorists should allow for extra time if traveling in the area or seek an alternate route. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
