Greater Fort Washington District Zoning Ordinances

A new zoning ordinance and design guidelines for the Fort Washington Office Park were enacted by the Upper Dublin Township Commissioners on May 14, 2019. The Greater Fort Washington (GFW) zoning district allows new mixed-use and multifamily housing development, to create a new Live – Work – Play environment according to the latest Smart Growth planning principles and practices. The passage of this new zoning follows extensive planning, forecasting and deliberation by the Upper Dublin Township Commissioners, Planning Commission and staff; and supports the ongoing Office Park revitalization program being managed by the Upper Dublin Township Municipal Authority.

The Commissioners changed the height restrictions for three parcels of land in the new district on August 13, 2019.
