Leaf Collection
The Township will collected leaf waste throughout the months of October-December on the schedule listed below.
- Leaves must be kept separate from other yard waste during the leaf collection program period.
- Leaves must be raked curbside loose in piles or windrows, rather than bagged or contained.
- No branches, trimmings, twigs, dirt, etc. may be mixed in leaf piles.
Placement of leaves:
Leaf piles or windrows should be placed directly behind the curb line or the edge of the property where the property meets the paved street or highway. Leaves shall not be raked or placed into the street or gutter.
Reminders
- Do not park on or near leaf piles during your collection week.
- Avoid parking on the street in cul-de-sacs during your collection week.
- Place leaves curbside (NOT in the street) no more than 7 days before your scheduled week of collection.
- Only leaves are permitted in leaf piles (no twigs, branches, stones, etc.).
- Once the machine completes a street, it is done for that cycle and will not return until the next cycle.
