Camphill Road Compost Site Facility

compostThe compost site facility is located at 1128 Camphill Road next to Mondauk Manor Park, approximately one third of a mile south of Susquehanna Road. All yard waste and leaves collected in the Township are taken to this facility where they are composted and then offered to residents at no charge.

Resident homeowners may drop off yard waste at the compost site during normal operating hours, when an attendant is present. Proof of residency is required.

A loader is normally available at the site to load those residents with trucks. Residents not needing a loader should load themselves from the self-service areas only.

The compost site facility is normally open Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

As part of the fully-automated yard waste collection program, the Compost Site will be open several Saturdays throughout the season for residents to drop off yard waste or pick up mulch. A loader will be available to load mulch. See the Township calendar for dates.

Note: the hours of operation at the Compost Site are subject to change without notice, so please call before arriving to verify that the site is open.

Self-Service Compost Areas

The self-service areas for compost are located in the lower parking area of Mondauk Manor Park on Camp Hill Road (next to the dog park) and off of Fort Washington Avenue, across from the Maple Glen Elementary School. Compost will be available seven days a week, dawn to dusk while supplies last.

However, it may still contain allergens, weeds, insects or foreign matter. Sensitive users should wear proper clothing and protection when handling the compost. Upper Dublin Township makes no guarantee concerning the quality of the compost, and assumes no liability for injury or property damage as a result of the use or delivery of the compost. Residents who use this compost do so at their own risk.
