Police Week Activities

Monday, May 12, 2014, from 6:30p to 8:30p, the Upper Dublin Township Police Department hosted National Police Week Night Out at the Upper Dublin Police and Township Building. There were police station tours, demonstrations, and a chance to meet some of our UDPD officers. It was a great night of activities for the whole family.

National Police Week was started by President Kennedy in 1962. It was started to remember all those Officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. This year, Chief Thompson and the Upper Dublin Township Police Department were proud to present the National Police Week Commemoration Event, which not only remembered these Officers, but also educated community members about law enforcement and public safety. This event brought the community together through police-community partnerships.
