It is strongly suggested that you make your payment at least two weeks in advance of any due dates. This allows us an opportunity to try and assist you by reviewing your payment and then contacting you if any corrections need to be made. Please understand that although we attempt to help you make corrections, it is ultimately your responsibility to provide us with a correct check and/or payment by the due dates. Your failure to do so may cause your payment to be late and incur further charges. Providing us with a telephone number allows us to contact you on a more timely basis.

Please note: Only cashier checks and money orders can be accepted for payment for the period of December 16 to December 31. No personal checks, credit cards, or e-checks can be accepted during that time.

Further note: Credit cards or e-checks CANNOT be used to pay ONLINE for interim tax bills or school installment payments. If you would like to pay school installment payments by e-check or credit card, you can only do so by calling the Tax Office during regular business hours at 215-646-4794.

There are several ways to make your real estate tax payments.

1. 1. 1. Mail – Upper Dublin Tax Office, 370 Commerce Drive, Fort Washington, PA 19034
         (a) Make check payable to “Upper Dublin Tax Collector.” Checks not made payable as such will be returned.
         (b) Write parcel number and telephone number on the check
         (c) Make sure the amount is correct and the numerical amount matches the written amount on the check
         (d) Make sure you write the correct date and the check is signed.
         (e) If you would like a stamped receipt please mail both copies of the bill along with a self addressed stamped envelope.
         (f) Payments received or postmarked by the US Post Office on the due date will be accepted as being received on that date. Metered mail postmarks are not acceptable as proof of mailing.
      2. Drop Box at Upper Dublin Twp. Building – 370 Commerce Drive, Fort Washington, PA 19034
         Checks may be deposited in the secure gray drop box at Upper Dublin Township at Commerce. The box is located in the parking lot at the rear of the parking lot. Please follow items (1)(a)-(e) above and then put contents in an envelope and mark Tax Collector on the front of the envelope. The drop box will be checked at midnight on due dates. Anything deposited after that time will be considered received on the following day and payment amount should be changed accordingly.
      3. In-person – Upper Dublin Twp. Building, Real Estate Tax Office, 370 Commerce Drive, Fort Washington, PA 19034 - Unfortunately, our temporary office (370 Commerce Drive, Fort Washington, PA) is not ideal with regard to in-person tax collection. The building does not have access to public bathrooms, our tax office is not connected to a public walk-up window, there are several stairs that lead up the reception area, and the reception area is rather small. We, therefore, encourage you to make payments through one of our other payment options for now: 1) gray drop box located in the rear parking lot, 2) online payments at www.udtax.net, 3) payments over the phone, 4) mail in payments. We are hoping to be back in our old offices, at the Township Building, sometime next year.
         Please have your check written prior to coming to the window. Always a good idea to have a spare blank check just in case a correction needs to be made. Follow steps (1)(a)-(d) above. If you bring both copies of the bill we will stamp and return one to you for your records. Otherwise, your cashed check will be your receipt. Avoid lines by coming at least a week in advance. You also have the option of paying by credit card. A non-refundable convenience fee of 2% or $1.00, whichever is greater, will be added to your amount due to cover these additional charges. Minimum convenience fee is $1.00. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Convenience fees are paid directly to a third party credit vendor and are not paid to the taxing entity or our tax office.
      4. Online Payments
         Follow the links below to make an online payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express or by E-Check). Credit card payments cannot be used to pay interim bills or school installment payments ONLINE. However, school installment tax bills can be paid on the telephone by calling 215-646-4794. A non-refundable convenience fee of 2% will be added to your amount due to cover these additional credit card fees. They accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Another online option is an E-Check. Real Estate Taxes paid by e-check will have a flat $0.50 convenience fee regardless of the amount paid. Convenience fees are paid directly to a third party credit vendor and are not paid to the taxing entity or our tax office.
