Open Space Planning
Upper Dublin Township has produced an Open Space and Environmental Resource Protection Plan in accordance with the requirements set forth by Montgomery County. Through meetings with Upper Dublin's Citizens Advisory Committee, a set of five goals for the Plan were agreed upon. The following goals are specific to neighborhood parks and playgrounds, geared to serving local neighborhoods into the future.
Open Space Referendum and Voting Results
The voters of Upper Dublin Township were asked on the November 4, 2008 ballot to vote on a referendum authorizing the Township Board of Commissioners to borrow up to $30 million to fund the acquisition of land or easements in the Township. The Township will only borrow funds on an as needed, least cost approach.
