Lobbying & Advocacy
McCullough Consulting Group, Inc. has been in business since 2003 and has been successful in securing over $3 million in loans and grants. They were engaged by the Township to apply for an H2O PA Act grant to alleviate flooding in the Fort Washington Office Park. With the assistance of the McCullough Group, the Township was successful in obtaining an $11 million grant to construct flood retarding structures on the Pine Run and Rapp Run. H2O PA Act grants provide $800 million to municipalities for three different types of problems: water and sewer, hazardous and flood control projects.
McCullough worked behind the scenes with Township legislators and others in Harrisburg to advocate for approval of our application. McCullough assisted in the implementation of the grant as far as receiving the grant monies and provided any auditing services necessary at the end of the process.
McCullough’s fee was not reimbursable under the grant, but was contingent upon receiving the grant. They did not get paid until the Township actually receives the grant money. McCullough’s contingency fee schedule is as follows:
18% of the first $500,000
15% of the next $4.5 million
2% of the next $5 million
1% of the next $10 million
