An independent agency housed in the Board of Probation and Parole. This law gave the Victim Advocate the authority
and the duty to represent the rights and interests of crime victims before the Department of Corrections (DOC) and
the Board of Probation and Parole (PBPP).
Jen and Dave Line
The Jen and Dave Line is a 24 hour telephone service providing criminal charge information on parents involved in
child custody matters.
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
As the nation's resource center for child protection, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
(NCMEC) spearheads national efforts to locate and recover missing children and raises public awareness about ways to
prevent child abduction, molestation, and sexual exploitation.
National Center for Victims of Crime
This center has a database of over 8,800 agencies and can refer victims to appropriate local services anywhere in the
country through their toll-free, 1-800-FYI-CALL Helpline.
