Mission

The mission of the Upper Dublin Public Library is to satisfy the informational, intellectual and cultural needs of all township residents by providing materials, programs and services that enrich people's lives. We accomplish this mission by ensuring:

Services

The Upper Dublin Public Library serves the community with a collection of over 90,000 books, more than 100 magazine and newspaper subscriptions and over 7,000 videos, recordings and audio-books.

The library provides telephone and walk-up reference service, Internet and Microsoft Office access, electronic resources, services to students and business, bestsellers, biographies, general nonfiction, mysteries, science fiction, children's picture books, large print books, exhibits, videos, audio-books, and CDs. Additional materials are available from the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library and other libraries through Inter-Library loan. The library is a member of MCLINC and shares an online catalog with 14 other libraries in Montgomery County.

From the Upper Dublin Public Library Web Site, search the library catalog, access one of our online databases, find a good book to read, check out our children's programming, link to some great free reference websites and keep up-to-date on all of the library happenings. Be sure to visit the Pennsylvania POWER library, a collection of web-based databases for students and researchers available from library workstations and from home.

The library provides story times for preschool children, book clubs, summer reading clubs and cultural and educational programming for all ages.
The main library is located on the lower level of the west side of the Upper Dublin Township Municipal Complex, 805 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington, PA 19034 across the street from the Upper Dublin High School.
