The voters of Upper Dublin Township were asked on the November 4, 2008 ballot to vote on a referendum authorizing the Township Board of Commissioners to borrow up to $30 million to fund the acquisition of land or easements in the Township. The Township will only borrow funds on an as needed, least cost approach. You can calculate the approximate annual impact on your real estate taxes by keying in below the assessed value of your property. This would be the annual cost of borrowing all $30 million through the issuance of 20 year bonds at 4.0% interest.

The official referendum results from Montgomery County are:
YES 67.14% (8,102 votes) / NO 32.86% (3,965 votes); total votes of 12,067.
