Registration is now open for the Upper Dublin Sprint Triathlon! The event will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Fort Washington, PA. Early entry fee good until February 28, 2013. The event is comprised of a 350 meter indoor swim, 11.2 mile bike ride and 5K run. Not sure you can complete it on your own? This fundraising event is sponsored by the Township Board of Commissioners and the Upper Dublin School District. Beneficiaries will include the Upper Dublin Education Foundation as well as other local charities. Upper Dublin Parks & Recreation is serving as the primary organizer for the event. Community and Corporate sponsorships are being solicited for the event. Interested sponsors or volunteers should contact Derek Dureka, Director of Upper Dublin Parks & Recreation.
This special event was held annually from 1986 to 2010 to raise money for local charities. Upper Dublin Township donated close to $1,000,000 to help several dozen local charities serving the Upper Dublin Community.
