The Building Code Board of Appeals consists of seven township residents (five regular and two alternates) who meet as needed to hear and rule on matters concerning compliance with the Township Building Code. An application to the Board may consist of an appeal, a request for a variance or a request for an extension of time relating to accessibility requirements. Members of the Building Code Board of Appeals are appointed by the Commissioners and are experienced in matters pertaining to building construction. This board was formed in June 2008.
The BCBA meetings and hearings are held as requested in the township building and are open to the public. Agendas for both meetings and hearings will be posted on this web site.
Members of this board are David A. Dunn, Daniel Emery, Terry Yemm, Robert J. Walter, John Gallagher, Peter Hahn, and James English.
