November 11, 2008 - The Upper Dublin Township Police Department would like to welcome our newest Police Officer, Stephen Scheier. Officer Scheier was appointed by the Board of Commissioners on November 11, 2008 and will soon be attending the Montgomery County Police Academy. Please join us in welcoming Officer Scheier.
November 11, 2008 - The Upper Dublin Township Police Department would like to congratulate Michael Janoski on his recent promotion. Michael Janoski was promoted to Sergeant on November 11, 2008 at the Board of Commissioners Meeting. Sergeant Janoski will be taking charge of Platoon C and we wish him the best of luck in his new position.
October 7, 2008 - The Upper Dublin Township Police Department took delivery of 14 new, Fuji, police patrol bikes. These bicycles replace the Police Department's aging fleet of patrol bicycles and will allow our certified bike patrol officers to utilize the safest, and most advanced, police patrol bicycles available. These police patrol bicycles were purchased through the generous donations of local citizens and businesses. We would like to thank everyone that donated to our police bike patrol unit.

August 11, 2008 - The Upper Dublin Township Civil Service Commission has certified the Police Officer Eligibility List.
July 27, 2008 - The Upper Dublin Police Department congratulates Sergeant John Czop on his retirement. Sergeant Czop joined the Upper Dublin Police Department on April 14, 1977. Sergeant Czop was the shift supervisor for "C Squad".
July 12, 2008- Chief of Police Terrence P. Thompson is proud to announce that the Upper Dublin Township Police has been awarded re-accreditation by the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (PLEAC). Only about 4% of Pennsylvania police agencies have earned the distinction of PLEAC accreditation.

June 6, 2008- The Upper Dublin Township Police Department would like to Congratulate Sergeant Darren Nyce and Sergeant Andrew Sanborn for completing the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety Police Staff and Command School. This is a very demanding ten week course in police management and is held throughout the entire United States. Sergeants Sanborn and Nyce attended this course in Bucks County from February to June.

Project Safe Return® The Upper Dublin Township Police Department in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Association of Delaware Valley is proud to present Project Safe Return®. Project Safe Return® is a voluntary Police Department program that assists Police Officers in reuniting care givers with lost or wandering loved ones suffering from Alzheimer's disease, Autism or other incapacitating conditions.
